Scams Targeting Grieving families
Funeral Home scams have been reported throughout the nation by local news outlets, the FTC, and the GFDA.
We want to make our families aware that there have been reports of unauthorized individuals calling families and claiming to be one of our Funeral Directors, a part of the Funeral Home, or insurance company requesting payment be made immediately in order for services to continue as planned. Please never pay an individual insistent on a money transfer or payment through any other payment platform. If you are unsure, please hang up and call the funeral home directly and report the fraudulent phone call. Unfortunately this scam is affecting all businesses in our area.
