Allen Neal Page, 78, of Marietta died Friday, February 05, 2010.
Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church of Marietta with Dr. Sam Matthews, Rev. Sam Storey, Sr., and Dr. Cindi McDonald officiating.
Mr. Page was a life-long resident of Marietta. He served in the US Army. He was a graduate of Marietta High School, class of 1948 and a graduate of University of Georgia. He retired from Lockheed Aeronautical Corporation in 1990 after 37 years of service in the Labor and Relations Department. He helped establish the Eastside Baseball League and also served as President. He was founding Company President of Walton and Dodgen Schools PTA. Past president of the Board of Cobb County Youth Museum, former president of Cobb Marietta Girls Club. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Marietta. Along with his wife of 48 years, they owned and operated Page One Antiques.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Jo Ellen Page of Marietta; one daughter, Gloria Benton Snepp of Marietta; one son, David Page and his wife, Karen of Marietta; one granddaughter, Kinsleigh Ram; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Ruth Page.
Predeceased by brother, Rev. Cecil Weldon Page; two children, Ken and Allen Page.
Contributions may be made to any charity of your choice.
Family will receive friends in the reception hall after the service.
Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory will be handling the arrangements.
